About the Founder
As the founder of IT8, I take great pride in offering an honest service to all candidates and clients.
I've worked successfully in IT recruitment since 2004 after I graduated with a 2:1 in Computer Science from UWE Bristol.
I was responsible for finding and securing over 80 engineers for a scale up fin-tech based in London and Turin. £6m+ in salaries successfully closed in 10 months.
I've got the experience needed to ask the right questions, and the most difficult questions - to challenge candidates and clients where necessary.
I still love what I do everyday - I've got an excellent attitude to work, good energy and it's all done with a sense of responsibility, humour and humility.
There's not much I haven't experienced in IT recruitment in 19 years.
On a personal note, Ive lived in Bristol and Australia, have traveled the world solo for a year including South America, NZ and South East Asia. I support Arsenal, love animals, play bad golf, used to play bad rugby (I'm 6'3" and over 250 lbs).
I practice daily meditation and stoic philosophy for good mental health.
